Affirmative Action for Obama

Question for Democrats

Why doesn't affirmative action apply to the presidential election?  If the Democrats really believed that affirmative action is a just program that has a positive impact on America, then why aren't they supporting Barack Obama?  The whole point of affirmative action is helping minorities attain jobs and positions they wouldn't otherwise be able to because their race gives them a disadvantage.  Affirmative action, according to Democrats, is a way to overcome America's discrimination of minorities.

So why doesn't affirmative action apply to the Presidency for the Democrats?  All of the Presidents of the United States have been white males.  Isn't it about time the Democrats step up and nominate Barack Obama outright simply on the basis that history shows minorities are "discriminated" against when it comes to electing them to be President?  Where is affirmative action for that?  Doesn't he deserve the same help that other minorities get when they are applying for a job position?

Why do we need the primary anyway?  Primaries are all about finding who is the most qualified or who would make the best President.  Affirmative action saves minorities who aren't qualified enough for certain positions, and mandates they be hired anyway based on their race.

That sounds exactly like Barack Obama!  He's completely unqualified to be President, but shouldn't he be handed the Democratic nomination because he part of a minority?  Doesn't he need the help from the government to get the job he wants?

Iowa apologizes

Dear nation,

As a state, we would like to apologize for the results of our caucus almost a week ago.  We did not do our job.  Iowa has normally been a fine example of what grassroots politics and candidate scrutiny are.  Please give us one more chance and do not take our 1st in the nation status away from us.  We will do better in the future.

Iowa Republicans overlooked the issues and elected someone who is the least conservative man to  ever win the Iowa caucus in its modern form.  As a state, we let Mike Huckabee and his evangelical bible-toting side get the best of us.  We were so caught up on who was the best Christian instead of who is the best leader.  If we would have done our homework we would have realized that Huckabee allowed tax payer money to be given to illegal aliens for college, opposed school choice for families, and raised taxes $500 million.  We Iowans didn't take our responsibility as the first caucus in the nation seriously, and the entire GOP is now paying the price.

Iowa Democrats
were worse.  The Democrats in this state elected a man with less experience than Hillary Clinton has in her left big toe - and yes, I do understand the significance of that statement.  Barack Obama completed one-third of his first term ever as a national legislature and decides to run for President.  He is only popular because of his charming speeches.  He never actually says anything!  His speeches only work because they make people feel warm and fuzzy inside.  When Barack Obama talks about "hope", that's all he is talking about.  He doesn't have any content, plans, experience, or qualifications - but apparently using fancy words with a preacher-type voice is all it takes to win in my state.

In 2012, the Republicans will elect someone based on who would make the best President of our nation and not who would make the best pastor of our local church.  In 2012, the Democrats will actually listen to what their candidates say (or don't say) in their speeches and vote based on experience and not on what makes them feel happy.

Please give us one more chance at being the first caucus in the nation.

Sincerely,

The State of Iowa

2007 Patriots

TOP 10 PATRIOTS OF 2007:

1. United States Military -

They are the ones doing the fighting, so they get the #1 spot ahead of Patraeus and Bush.

2.  George Bush - President of the United States

According to the Democrats, the war on terror has made us less safe, yet we have gone six years and four months without a terrorist attack.  We have captured or killed more terrorists during Bush's war on terror than Clinton did during his entire term.  We have arrested more suspected terrorists inside our own country thanks to Bush's PATRIOT ACT than Clinton did during his entire term.  If Hillary Clinton continues to be aggressive against terrorism, continues the PATRIOT ACT, and keeps America safe...she will be a top patriot of 2008.

3.  David Patraeus - Military General

David Patraeus orchestrated the troops surge in Iraq that is now working.  Compared to a year ago, civilian deaths are down 84%, suicide attacks are down 80%, and U.S. military deaths are down 65%.  Those are successful numbers in Iraq, and successful numbers in Iraq have an inverse relationship to Harry Reid's approval rating.

4.  Bill O'Reilly - Political commentator

In 2007, Bill O'Reilly led a charge against the ACLU and the liberal agenda in public schools.  His efforts even led to a defeat for the ACLU in a court and one ranting, atheist teacher to be fired.  He is taking over for Pat Buchanan as America's next true culture warrior.  He also made a trip over to Iraq to visit the troops.

5.  Bill Gates - CEO Microsoft

Bill Gates has donated over $29 billion to organizations and charities for various causes.  His philanthropy has even led to Warren Buffet to pledge up to $1.5 billion a year in stocks to the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.  He's a member of the wrong party, but there's still a big difference between him and John Edwards.  John Edwards talks about helping the poor and gets $400 haircuts.  Bill Gates stays mostly out of the public light while giving his billions to charities.

6.  Robin Williams - Comedian/Actor

While Hollywood was badmouthing America, our military, and the Iraq war, Robin Williams was visiting the troops in Iraq.  Before it was popular for Hollywood stars to visit the troops, Robin Williams had already been there four times.  He's a democrat, strongly against the war, and yet he puts the troops ahead of what's "politically correct" in Hollywood.  He has led the way for more and more celebrities to make the trip over to Iraq.

7.  Joe Lieberman - Democrat/Independent Senator

Joe Lieberman crossed party lines and endorsed Republican John McCain for President because of his belief that the war in Iraq is making America safer.  He has consistently supported the war on terror, America's alliance with Israel, and the PATRIOT ACT.

8.  Phyllis Schlafly - Political Activist

In 2007, Phyllis stepped up her efforts to preserve social conservatism.  As a strong anti-feminist, she has made her goal in the past few years to limit pornography on television in movies and stand up for Christian rights in schools and public education.  At 83 years old, she is definitely one woman who was born during the "women's right to vote" days but does NOT want to live to see the day Hillary is in the White House.

9.  Nicolas Sarkozy - President of France

The conservative revolution in France has begun.  The years of anti-American and pro-socialist policies of former French presidents is gone.  In one of his first speeches as president of France, Sarkozy praised America for being the "greatest nation in the world" and one that should be the model for the rest of the world.  He praised America for leading the world in the war on terror and being a model of virtue.  American liberals can't even say such good things about their own country, so Sarkozy is the #8 patriot of the year.

10.  Santa Claus - Obese philanthropist

In 2007 Santa faced a lot of criticism about his weight.  Liberals have called Santa a bad influence on the young children who admire him because of his overweight lifestyle.  Liberals also can't stand the fact that he employs millions of elves for less than minimum wage and uses animals as his main source of transportation.

Support Hillary!

Why are there so many anti-Hillary Clinton postings on so many conservative websites?

The Democratic primary isn't even over, and she is far from winning the nomination.  So why are there so many conservatives who are already taking aim at her?  Support Hillary!  Support Hillary through the Democratic primary.  She is the one Republicans want to face in the general election.  Attack Barack.  Stop his momentum, and leave Hillary alone until the general election.

Conservatives should be praying that Hillary gets the nomination.  There isn't a more easy person to defeat.  Her negatives are high, she can't claim to be the candidate for "change", and she just can't get enough support to win.  When nominated, it would only take time before her polls would continually start to slide as America is exposed to her on TV, the radio, ads, talk-shows, news, and everywhere else.

Barack Obama could be dangerous.  He will mobilize the youth vote.  He will mobilize the black vote.  He will mobilize the independent vote with his charisma and "hope" speeches.  He is the one that can beat the GOP in the general election.  Why not focus efforts on keeping him from getting nominated instead of Hillary?

Stop with all the anti-Hillary stuff.

Save it for Feb. 6, right after we know who will win the Democratic nomination.  Save it for when she is the nominee, but don't use it to try to prevent her from becoming the nominee.  A Hillary vs. [enter GOP candidate here] race would be one of the easiest races to win for Republicans.

SUPPORT HILLARY FOR THE DNC 2008 NOMINATION!

Dear Ron Paul Supporters

Dear Ron Paul supporters,

I understand that you believe that Ron Paul is what America needs.  I understand that you believe that Ron Paul's ideas of isolationism and his beliefs that America deserved 9/11 for our foreign policy are justified.  I understand that you support Ron Paul and his beliefs that hatred and terrorism towards America is caused by America itself.  We all know about Ron Paul's cheerleading group on the internet who has to flood all political polls and spam every corner of the internet promoting the Ron Paul Revolution.

However, just stop.  We get it.

Believe it or not, America is smart enough to choose their own candidate and decide for themselves who they will support.  There is a thing called the internet which is a useful tool for research about candidates.  We can decide for ourselves.  We don't need your little group to shove his message down our throat.

-Your flocking to every political poll on the internet just to Ron Paul comes out #1 will not make me support him.
-Your constant spamming on Youtube, facebook, my space, political forums, and blogs will not make me support him.
-The fact that 75% of his base is made of young adults between the ages of 16-24 will definitely not persuade me.

I don't want to join your cult.  I don't want to have to see his supporters speaking of this so called "revolution" on any more blogs, websites, or forums.  Grassroots campaigning is much more respectable. No hard feelings, but America is smart enough to make up its own mind.  Thanks for understanding.

Sincerely,

The rest of the internet

2007 Pinheads

I would like to share my personal list of best and worst people of 2007.  Bill O'Reilly does a segment  on his show called "Pinheads and Patriots" and those two titles will fit nicely with my lists.  My first list will be the top 10 pinheads of 2007.  Pinheads are easier to find that patriots, but I will try to get the list of patriots done ASAP.

Feel free to add your own or comment on mine.  I'm sure I left out some that deserved to be on the list!

TOP 10 PINHEADS OF 2007:

1.  Rosie O'Donnell - TV Personality/Loud-mouth

Rosie has stated that 9/11 was an inside job that was carried out by the Bush administration and that we shouldn't fear the terrorists because they are mothers and fathers too.  She has claimed that Christianity in America is just as dangerous as Islam and to top it all off, she has called our own soldiers terrorists.  Pinhead #1 of 2007

2.  Seung-Hui Cho - Murderer

Virginia Tech shooter who killed 32 and injured countless more.

3. Michael Moore - Film Director/Producer

Michael Moore filmed a documentary in Cuba which claimed that the Cuban health care system is much better than the American system.  Mr. Moore, if Cuba is so much better than America, then why did you end up coming back to America.  Why don't you live there, instead?  Oh yeah...communism and poverty and all that.

4. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - President of Iran

This is a man who denies the Holocaust ever existed and has stated he will "wipe Israel off the map".  Now I don't know about Barack Obama, but I tend to be against this guy having any access to a nuclear weapon.  I guess I'm just old-fashioned that way.

5. NBC - Television Network

Freedom's Watch, a non-profit organization, asked NBC to run an ad thanking and praising our troops for all they do for us.  NBC refused and thus, #5 for them.  The entire network made my pinhead list.  While ABC and Fox News were airing the ad, NBC refused on the grounds that it was "political".  Boycott NBC.

6. Cindy Sheehan - Anti-War Activist

Sheehan's son, Casey Sheehan, died in Iraq in 2004.  He is a patriot.  His mother, who uses his death as a way to promote and encourage the impeachment of President Bush, is a pinhead.  Not only is she a anti-Bush protester, but she has also joined Rosie (our #1 pinhead) in stating that she believes 9/11 was an "inside job".

7. Al Gore - Environmentalist

On January 27, 2006, Al Gore stated we have exactly 10 years left to save the planet before global warming destroys it.  Well, that only leaves us 8 years, 22 days, 12 hours, and 4 minutes as I write this sentence.  His documentary on this impending doom won him a Nobel Peace Prize.  He isn't a pinhead because he believes in global warming, but because he believes bovine flatulence (cow farts) are part of the cause.

8. Mark Cuban - Entrepreneur/Billionaire

Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, financed the anti-military movie Redacted.  The movie tells the story of American soldiers raping and killing an innocent Iraqi girl.  Instead of putting money in to a pro-American movie, Cuban invested in a anti-American movie and also gets the #8 spot.

9. Elliot Spitzer - Democrat Governor of New York

As governor of New York, he ordered that illegal aliens in his state would be allowed to have drivers licenses.  Not only is it stupid to give out rewards for being here illegally, but it's a national security risk to hand out government documents to just anyone!  Fortunately, Spitzer reversed his decision and drivers licenses were never handed out.

10.  John Edwards - Democrat Senator from North Carolina

While on the campaign trail and talking about "two Americas", John Edwards moved in to his $6 million mansion.  While claiming to the be the only candidate for middle-class Americans, he is getting his hair cut for $400.  He makes a good #10 on my list of pinheads for 2007.
